Eggs are an essential part of the American breakfast providing 13 different vitamins and minerals and are also a great source of protein to get your day started off right. Every egg has about 75 calories. Eggs and the vitamins and minerals included in them are important to weight control, muscle strength, eye health, brain function and even can aid in a healthy pregnancy. Plus they taste great with a side of bacon and fresh fruit.
However, when you are on the side of a mountain at 10,000 feet, you don’t always have the luxury of getting such good nutrition and a tasty breakfast. OvaEasy has eliminated that problem.
Egg crystals are the solution. Using technology to slowly eliminate the water in fresh eggs leaves nothing but great tasting egg crystals. All that is need to get them ready to go for your menu and back to their original state is a little fresh water. Each individual packet is equal to one dozen fresh eggs and comes with its own scoop to make measuring a breeze. A couple of scoops of eggs and three scoops of fresh water and you have a perfect, one person serving. The mixture is an extremely smooth product and absorbs the water very quickly. It doesn’t have the slimy texture of a raw egg when mixed, which makes for excellent French toast or baking recipes. When the product is cooked on your camp stove or at home, you can’t tell the difference in texture, taste or quality. The shelf life of a package of OvaEasy eggs is two years, which make them a great product for food storage and emergency kits.
On a recent family outing, we mixed up a batch for a full family breakfast and three finicky little girls were asking for seconds. You can be sure we will have plenty of OvaEasy Eggs in our pantry and they will also find their way into my backpack for my hunting trips and in our emergency kits.
