If you are like me, you have more gear than you have pockets. It seems for every outdoor activity I have, I have 30-40 must have items that I take with me. To help organize and haul all of that gear, 5.11 Tactical has created the Bail Out Bag.  This small bag holds a lot of gear and keeps it right at hand and organized for easy access.

Two side pockets with external MOLLE attachments make getting to that often used gear like a cell phone, GPS, radio, or MP3 player a piece of cake. Three front pockets with Velcro closures are designed to fit an AR15 magazine but will accept a variety of items. A zippered main compartment with more MOLLE attachments and soft material for the 5.11 Back Up Belt System expands to hold larger items.

A non-slip shoulder strap, Aerospacer mesh back, ample padding, and a Velcro belt loop provide a variety of carrying options from a fanny pack, to a shoulder bag. Rugged nylon construction, heavy duty stitching, and YKK zippers make this bag a workhorse for serious duty. Even the strap features a packet and a loop perfect for attaching anything that clips on. I use the pocket for my hands free Bluetooth phone device.

The main compartment is large enough for full sized hearing protection when I go to the range. My rangefinder, a multitool, shooting glasses, binoculars, spare magazines, screwdriver set for adjusting the scope, lens cleaner, bore snake, laser boresighter,  small cleaning kit, and much more make this my grab bag when heading to the range to sight in a rifle or just do a little plinking. Even with all of that gear there is plenty of room left for a few boxes of ammo.

If you need a way to organize and contain your often used gear, this is the bag to do it with. Plenty of room, plenty of options, and it will stand up to whatever you can throw at it.  Check out the 5.11 Tactical Bail Out Bag at your local Sportsman’s Warehouse in the hunting department.
