I recently cleaned out the back seat of my car and there were dozens of empty plastic water bottles stuffed under the seats and on the floor. Continue Reading

The Bushnell Scout1000 Rangefinder Patriot Edition provides rifle shooters and archers with a great piece of equipment, while also donating a portion of the sale to the Folds of Honor Foundation to provide scholarships to the children of fallen warriors. Continue Reading

If you are like me, you have more gear than you have pockets. It seems for every outdoor activity I have, I have 30-40 must have items that I take with me. To help organize and haul all of that gear, 5.11 Tactical has created the Bail Out Bag. This small bag holds a lot of gear and keeps it right at hand and organized for easy access. Continue Reading

Almost everyone has seen the endless commercials on different gadgets for $19.95 or less. They will even double your order if you will just pay the shipping. The lists of gadgets that are out there are endless and if you don’t believe me, just flip on the television after midnight. Most of these gadgets and gimmicks just don’t hold up to their claims.

I have always been a little bit jealous of those guys who can take a knife that has an edge that looks more like a butter knife than a precision piece of steel that can shave hair off your arm and have it doing just that in a matter of minutes. I’m not sure if it is my lack of patience or if my grandfather didn’t pass that knife sharpening chromosome down the DNA chain, but whatever it is, I don’t have it.
