Watches have come a long way from your grand daddy’s Timex that took a lickin’ and kept on ticken’. A watch of today is much more than your standard time piece, especially when you are talking about adventure watches. You can check the depth of your snorkeling dives and log them at the touch of a button. You can monitor the vertical feet that you climb on a daily basis when in pursuit of that trophy animal and the digital compass might just save your life and get you back to camp in blizzard conditions. They can warn you of a storm heading your direction and give you time to set up camp. Watches have come a long way over the years and if you spend a lot of time in the outdoors, it is a good idea to have one attached to your arm.
