That does sound like a great pack.  Guess I have to go look at another one and add it to the list.

When it comes to hauling all of your gear in the outdoors, Alps Outdoorz has created the perfect companion to adapt to all of your needs.

Optimus Prime has nothing on this transformer, providing a fanny pack, day pack, bow carrier and meat hauler, all in one system. With over 2,700 total cubic inches of space, the Alps Pathfinder can accommodate your waterfowl gear, decoys, wet weather clothing and a bevy of birds. When archery season rolls around, reconfigure the pack and it will securely transport your bow and give you an easy to access day pack, with the added ability to haul out your quarters.

Looking to bag a Merriam, then just strap on the detachable fanny pack and use it for your calls and shells..Whatever your outdoor need, the Pathfinder is designed to meet your need and to improvise, adapt and overcome any hauling obstacle.

When you’re scouting or going to your stand, the fanny pack mode is great to haul along the essentials. There is a nice padded waist belt and shoulder harness system that makes carrying the Pathfinder a comfortable fit and helps distribute the weight. When more room is necessary, you simply unroll the daypack mode out from the fanny pack and you have an additional 1100 cubic inches of space. Once the daypack mode is set, you have the option to use the Pathfinder in a hauling mode or bow-carrying mode. The hauling mode has extra fabric and straps that work together to create additional space to either carry out meat or extra gear.
The Pathfinder system is compatible with pockets that attach to the carrying straps to provide even more places to stash that gear that you use the most often without removing the pack.

  • Universal Design that Fits a Wide Variety of Compound Bows
  • Carrying System Designed for Packing Out Meat

  • Extension Lashing Straps Included for Extra Large Loads
  • Fanny Pack Expands into Day Pack

  • Day Pack Capacity: 1900 cu. in.
  • Total Capacity: 2700 cu. in.
