THat's a good one. I had a buddy suggest we schmear a camp host's trailer with bacon grease when he gave the group an unreasonably hard time. We didn't but it was tempting and a funny thought at the least.

It's all fun and games until someone loses a head.

Not sure about that, but it is made from recycled materials if that helps your squishy little California bleeding heart. ;-) Did you get your hat?

squishy? Man, is that something I should see a doctor about? Wink

It's all good, I took the comment in the nature in which it was intended…good natured jabbing.

Yep, got the hat. Pic to follow! I've been out of town for the past week; rented a cabin in the woods in Lake Tahoe. Too bad it wasn't bear season…lot's of big one's wandering around a night. I think they liked me….either that or my wife baited my clothing with marshmellows again.

I just reread my previous post and it came off as a litte more sassy than intended. I do hope you take it in the good nature with which it is meant. it always helps to reread things after you have had your coffee.

Well, it would make a heckuva sig line, though!  Laugh

Sorry guys, we did review this, but it is so useful for some of our filming that we will not be giving it away. It is just too big of an asset for us to get good footage that we are keeping this piece of gear. Perhaps in the future Native will realize what a great marketing vehicle we are and send us another one to give away.

I'm for you keeping it. How about you give away a ride-a-long filming trip instead. Kayak filming Bloopers sounds like fun!Wink

I agree a filming trip would be awesome!Laugh

I started Rogue Kayak a kayaking retail, rental, and instruction business in Grants Pass, OR.  I will be a liquidlogic kayak dealer along with other kayaking equipment and accessories.  The 2012 lineup of kayaks is awsome.

The Native Watercraft website has all the info.   http://www.nativewatercraft.com/

Huge assortment of accessories, is an understatement. They even make these things with pedal powered propellers! I'm going to have to go see one of these for myself.

I finally got a chance to check out the Native Ultimate 12 kayak at an Orvis store (I saw the kayak in the window so I felt compelled to take a closer look); all I can say is wow. Pictures don't do this thing justice, the build quality and design of this kayak are truly top notch. Plus, there are a huge assortment of accessories available for it. Very nice piece of equipment. I REALLY hope I win it! If I do, I can promise you this, I will give this thing a in-depth review and write-up for the forum. I've been into the kayak scene pretty heavily for the last few years. This is one area where I could actually provide some useful information. Nice pick Sportsmans News!Laugh

Yeah, something like this might actually get the wife out on the water with me…but I'm not gonna lie; I'd really like that for myself!
