I'd like to get a new hunting rifle too, but this one just might have to wait till next hunting season.  I'd love to have it though!

Nice shot Mike. Great way to show the capabilities of the gun and the shooter.

This is a very nice video that was just posted online by Sportsman's News.  I bet you all will like it just as I did!!!

The Browning X-Bolt was used in this hunt.

Also, I found the video that I talked about earlier about John Browning.  It is an hour long documentary that is very informative.  Let me know if you like it!

I have never owned a Browning, but looking at the X-Bolt and reading up on it has got me interested.

Very nice bear.  Looks like a big one the ears are a good distance apart and the head looks huge.  Congrats on the hunt and a great time.

Great review.  I love guns and reading about them.  I think you have found a winner.  How about some pics of the animals taken with this rifle?

Click on the link that says go to original blog post and you can see a great black bear taken with the rifle.

I had an A bolt I hunted with for several years it would hold groups at sub-moa all day. It sounds like the Xbolt is a step up. My only complaint with the A bolt was that it was a bit heavy, it appears the X bolt took care of that problem.

Sounds really cool!  I have always been amazed by Brownings, they are well built and very accurate.  I saw a documentary on t.v. a while back about "John Browning".  It was awesome!  I wish I could watch it again, he came up with so many advanced things for the firearm that were ahead of his time.
