DEFINITIONS:

1.0 (a) Official Entry Form. The Official Entry Form is found on the Sponsor’s website at www.sportsmansnews.com.

(b) Contest Period. The Contest period will start at 12:00 am (MT) on March 31, 2011 and end at 11:59 pm (MT) on March 31, 2012.

(c) Released Parties. As defined in Section 3.

ELIGIBILITY:

2.0 The contest is open and offered only to individual persons who are legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age and older when contest begins. Void in Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, and where prohibited. Employees and directors of Sportsman’s News, LLC (“Sponsor”) and Itcha Mountain Outfitters (“Promotional Participant”) and their parent entities, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies, Web masters and Web suppliers (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Promotional Participant and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the contest or these Official Rules. The contest applicant that is drawn as the potential contest winner will need to sign the Promotional Participant’s Hunt Contract as a condition precedent to the awarding of the prize and a mandatory step in the process of accepting the prize. If the contest winner refuses to sign the Promotional Participant’s Hunt Contract for any reason, the prize will be deemed forfeited and awarded to another contest applicant.

HOW TO ENTER:

3.0 Enter the contest in either of the manners described in Sections 3.1

3.1 Enter the contest by completing an official entry form found at Sportsman’s News website (www.sportsmansnews.com) and submitting the entry as directed in these contest rules, and complete and submit the Confirmation Email, prior to the end of the Contest Period. Entries must be received no later than 12:00 pm March 31, 2011. Sponsor’s computer will be the official time clock for the contest. Any attempt at e-mail or other Internet entry will be void.

3.2 Limit one (1) entry per person as an individual. Participants who attempt to enter multiple times will be disqualified. Sponsor, Promotional Participant, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, participating retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for delayed, deleted, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, undeliverable, or destroyed official website entries, or for the incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of the applicable website, or by equipment or programming used in this Contest, printing, human processing or other error or omission, or for any error, interruption or unavailable network, server, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, or for miscommunications, failed computer, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure, or for jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or for any other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or network.

3.3 Entries are null and void and will be rejected if not obtained in accordance with these rules and through authorized, legitimate channels or if they contain or reflect printing, typographical, mechanical, or other errors. Any entry using micro, automatic, programmed, robotic, or like entry methods will automatically be void and entrants using such methods will be disqualified. If any portion of the contest is, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the contest, and select winners from entries received through the method of entry described in 3.1 of this document, or officially entered through the method of a Pre-Entry Form prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

DRAWING:

4.0 Sponsor will conduct a random drawing on or about 12:00 p.m. (MT) on April 3rd, 2012 from all eligible entries, as described in this document, timely received. Contest applicants need not be present at the drawing to win. The decisions of the Sponsor are unconditionally final and binding in all matters relating to this contest. The winner will be notified by E-MAIL on or about April 5, 2012. E-MAIL notification will be the sole method of notification. Neither the Sponsor nor any affiliate listed in Section 3.3 has control of the contest applicant’s ability to monitor the contest applicant’s e-mail account, including but not limited to in-box, or spam or any and all other possible folders or files associated with the individual e-mail account of the contest applicant. It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of each and every contest applicant to monitor e-mails, regardless of whether the contest was entered using a Pre-Entry Form or using the official entry form found on the sponsor’s web-site. The contest applicant who is drawn as the potential contest winner will need to successfully respond to the sponsors e-mail notification of the contest applicants name being drawn as the potential contest winner. This successful response will need to be received by the Sponsor no later than 12:00 pm April 8th, 2012 or the potential contest winner will lose all eligibility to win the Contest and the Grand Prize will be forfeited, without compensation of any kind due to the contest winner, in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from all remaining eligible entries.

PRIZES/ODDS:

5.1 One (1) Grand Prize is available. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize is $6,500.00. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5.2 The Promotional Participant has described the Grand Prize as a British Columbia Black Bear Hunt that includes lodging for one person (in a lodge that is suitable for families), meals, soft drinks and one Trophy fee for an ONE BLACK BEAR. The Promotional Participant has indicated that he will personally assist you with the simple Canadian Tourist Firearm import permit documentation (fee of $25.00 paid by the contest winner). This hunt can be upgraded to include additional hunters and non-hunters, up to a total group size of four. The fee for additional hunters is not part of the Grand Prize. The Promotional Participant has also included in this hunt, pick-up and return for one person to Prince George , British Columbia, Canada. Field preparation and freezing of the contest winner’s trophies is included, as well as delivery to their taxidermist at the end of your hunt. The hunt must be used in May 28th through June 1st of 2012. The Contest Winner must be able to confirm the hunt dates with the Promotional Participant. The contest winner must confirm the hunt with the Promotional Participant by April 20th, 2012 or the Grand Prize will expire.

5.3 All expenses not specified herein, whether known or unknown, are the sole responsibility of the winner, including without limitation, gratuities, any overnight lodging en route to or from British Columbia, travel expenses to the continental United States in the event the winner resides outside the continental United States, taxidermy costs, shipping of trophies, firearm import permit fees through Canada, excess baggage fees on airlines, rental vehicle, and any applicable taxes, whether federal, state or other. The Contest Winner and his or her travel companion(s) must sign eligibility and liability release documents prior to the disbursement of the prize. Any international travel documents required are solely the responsibility of the winner or his or her travel companion. If the contest winner cannot take the trip as stated, the Grand Prize will be forfeited, without compensation of any kind due to the contest winner, in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from all remaining eligible entries.

5.4 Any other prize details will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and/or Promotional Participant. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer the Grand Prize, or redeem the Grand Prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable in whole or in part for any reason. In the event of a dispute regarding prize claims or entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules to be considered the contest winner. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

6.0 Participants agree (a) to abide by these rules and all decisions of Sponsor and the Promotional Participant which shall be final in all respects relating to this Contest; (b) that Released Parties will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participant against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this contest or any contest related activity; or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize via entry forms, posters or any other media, including malice and gross negligence; (c) except where legally prohibited, to grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission for the Released Parties and those acting under their authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising, trade and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet, without notice, review or approval; (d) that the Released Parties may collect the personal information submitted by participants, and use the information for sales and marketing purposes, and that participants will be deemed to have opted-in to the e-mail database for both Sponsor, Sponsor affiliates, and the Promotional Participant; (e) that winner and winner’s travel companion (and parent/legal guardians of either, where applicable) will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within 14 days of receipt and that if documents are not returned by winner and winner’s travel companion on a timely basis, or if any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable on account of inaccurate or incomplete entry information or otherwise, or if Sponsor is unable to make contact with the winner within 3 days of its first attempt, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner; (f) if no alternate winner can be selected for any reason in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and will not be awarded to any contest participant; and (g) Sponsor may disqualify anyone from participating in the contest or winning a prize if, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, the Sponsor determines that an entrant is attempting to undermine, tamper with, or abuse any aspect of the contest by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant or Sponsor’s representatives and Sponsor reserves the right to terminate such participant’s eligibility. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

7.0 WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY. BY ENTERING THE CONTEST EACH APPLICANT RELEASES AND WAIVES LIABILITY RESULTING FROM INJURIES OR ACCIDENTS SUSTAINED DURING THE HUNT AND FROM ANY OTHER DAMAGES, INCLUDING THEFT OR DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY. EACH APPLICANT AGREES AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HUNTING IS AN INHERENTLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITY AND THERE IS AN ASSOCIATED RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH, INCLUDING INJURIES RESULTING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF OTHERS. EACH APPLICANT, BY ENTERING THE CONTEST OR FILLING OUT A PRE-ENTRY FORM, WAIVES ALL CLAIMS AGAINST THE SPONSOR, THE PROMOTIONAL PARTICIPANT AND THE RELEASE PARTIES.
